Job Title – Key Account ManagerDEPARTMENT – SALESLOCATION – Kolkata Key Account Manager: To manage a specific sales territory and clients to achieve the highest possible return on sales costs spent, achieving regional sales target that contributes to the overall corporate sales and strategic objectives. Successfully drive a highly complex Hospital and Diagnostics Labs from the introduction of new screening and diagnostics concepts through closure and implementation, working with physicians, laboratory, infection control, Quality Assurance, and executive staff members to identify needs, gain consensus, and close new assays and instrumentation business as rapidly as possible. Essential Job Responsibilities: Performing the key initiatives like customer call, coverage of the region, partnering activities on monthly basis for productivity enhancement and better cost to sales ratio.o Perform monthly assessment of KPI’s to determine strengths, training needs and potential. Provide coaching for improving skills.o Maintain effective and proper relationship with the Cross-Functional Team ensuring working discipline and compliance with company ethics policy. o Identification of the key accounts, understand and develop a meaningful business relationship that identifies growth opportunities. Formulate an annual business plan to meet account as well as business needs. Delivering and tracking of partnering activities as planned.o Keep the Sales Head updated on the changes in the market and competitive situations and activities on monthly basis.o Ensure right funnel is prepared and prospects are met at the right frequency.o Successfully drive the assay maximization strategies working closely with Field application specialists.o Successfully implement the Marketing campaigns to achieve reagent growth and drive business through reagent and instrument sales.o Host and assist the marketing team with conduction of CME’s, roadshows, instrument demonstrations, participation in the regional conferences etc.
