Position Overview
The Director of Enterprise System Technologies is responsible for ensuring the creation and
execution of tactical and strategic plans for the McCormick global enterprise systems & technology
program, which includes but is not limited to, Cloud (i.e Azure), SAP, Databases, Network, Servers
...
and storage (Platform). The individual in this position has responsibility for overseeing the
development, implementation, operation, monitoring, and evaluation of the enterprise systems and
supporting environments, including Cloud, database, network, hardware, support services and
operating systems. This position is also responsible for developing strategic plans and overseeing
execution of short- term tactical and long-term strategic plans for the enterprise software and
hardware in conjunction with established industry vendors. The Director is responsible for overseeing
managed service provider outcomes and operations delivery and ensuring contractual obligations are
fulfilled and full value delivered. Other duties include performance management, data archiving,
assisting with the development and testing of the IT Disaster Recovery plan, and the coordination of
problem resolution activities with end-users and the other McCormick IT teams.Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities of the Enterprise System Technologies team
especially in mitigating future risk and addressing critical problems to
minimize their impact on the Corporation. This involves leading change and
risk management efforts, identifying necessary resources and ensuring that
operations and projects are delivered in a timely manner. In addition, the
incumbent will lead implementation of short range tactical plans to maintain
the Corporate Enterprise Infrastructure, such as backups and monthly
maintenance windows
Work cooperatively with the McIT Functional teams in assessing the
technology requirements for new and upgraded applications. Provide
guidance through project planning and other large collaboration efforts.
Provide long-term strategic guidance and planning for all Enterprise level
hardware, software, tools, Cloud environments, and applications used by the
Corporation
Perform management duties as it pertains to the Enterprise Systems
Technologies employees including coaching, development, performanceappraisals and training for the global team,..
