Role: Manager - Channels & Amplification

Experience: 8-12 years

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • The Communications Support - Channels & Amplification will drive content planning and management amongst the communications colleagues of the company in India and Bangladesh in order to amplify the right messages across different channels.
  • He / She will lead the development of content for select digital channels (internal, website or social media) while engaging a network of colleagues across the country
  • He / She will handle internal communications activities and projects for the Enabling Functions (including HR, SSCDN, CFO, LPC)
  • He / She is responsible for safeguarding the company's image and managing branding activities at various company sites.
  • He/she reports directly to the Communications BP - Channels and Amplification- South Asia (R and A-line).

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collaborate with various communications colleagues as well as a network of employees across the organization to drive, organize and implement a common editorial content calendar across businesses and functions
  • Be accountable for elevating how the company engages in owned internal and external channels, including but not limited to, all company's corporate social media channels, employee intranet and web, delivering a consistent voice across all channels
  • Design and create engaging content in multimedia and other formats to develop company’s content hub in alignment with the rest of the team
  • Inform and execute real-time publishing and response strategy to comments on owned digital platforms as well as opportunities identified outside our own communities
  • Provide comprehensive advice to Enabling Functions, including but not limited to HR, Shared Services, CFO and LPC (Law Patents Compliance), on all aspects of communications and assist in setting a strategic direction
  • Ensure branding is aligned as per global standards especially for sites and office collateral
  • Assume responsibility for complying with all communication guidelines (e.g. one voice policy, branding and corporate design)

WHO YOU ARE:

  • University degree (minimum B.A. preferably masters or equivalent) in marketing, communications or journalism related field
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; local language skills is a plus
  • Passionate about communications (especially digital) with relevant experience of at least 8-12 years
  • Strong knowledge about social media channel strategies and the overall social landscape, have a pulse on social trends, and a drive to innovate (experience with publishing tools like Sprinkler would be an added advantage).
  • Design and production skills to put together creative content in various formats including basic audio-visuals, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, etc (Knowledge of the Adobe product suite like Photoshop, InDesign, etc would be a great advantage)
  • Preferred experience of working with content management systems for websites (like Drupal)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by engaging in team-based collaboration and ensuring inclusivity
  • Exceptional advisory expertise and excellent stakeholder management
  • Structured and analytical approach to work and a quick learner
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Eye for aesthetics and branding
