Design fire protection systems including Hydrant fire alarms, sprinklers, fire suppression, gas suppression, Fire alarm & detection in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare detailed design documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Must have knowledge about standards/codes like NBC, NFPA, FM, Indian standards
Selection of Fire pumps, water supply pumps
Hydraulics and selection of plumbing system
Hydraulic calculations , knowledge of software like pipenet, sprinkcalc
System integration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team – mechanical, electrical, chemical, and process , external system
Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Work closely with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project development.
Plumbing :- system selection, calculation, codel knowledge , MEP Co-ordination, Schematic, Drawings preparation, Equipment selection and sizing, pressure Loss, Pipe Sizing, Water demand- raw and potable water, flow requirement, pump sizing, pit sizing, drain pipes and channel sizing, seepage and sewage calculation, RWH calculation and other required relevant calculations
Prepare and work technical drawings, and documentation to communicate designs and processes clearly.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
participate in project meetings and communicate progress updates to stakeholders
Candidate must have knowledge about technicality of the systems like hydraulic calculation, duty parameters, Material of construction, selection of equipment, datasheets and drawings review, FAT/SAT,BIM
contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices
Ensure timely availability of GFC drawings & technical documents
Candidate must have experience in semiconductor/pharma/FMCG projects
