?Be a trusted advisor for HR leadership in managing employee issues in a consistent and fair manner.
Understand the business need and offer customized solutions to HR, leadership and other stakeholders working within the framework of the local law and existing Organization policies.
Investigate and address employee relations complaints in the India, particularly those that are high profile investigations or where a central team is necessary to ensure objectivity.
Serve as a subject matter expert in conducting investigations and advise HR on the same.
Prepare clear and objective written reports and recommendations as well as review the draft reports from the team.
Standardize the approach and recommended outcomes in conducting investigations in the India and to create appropriate templates and processes.
Assist in creating and maintaining a tracking mechanism on investigations to assist with reporting and escalating issues.
Navigate the firm s support resources (Wellness, Employee Assistance Program, Office of Global Security etc.)
Help to identify and monitor trends or areas of concern.
Assist the Corporate Investigations team in reviewing Business Ethics Line matters and conducting local employee investigations.
Review situations of escalated employee grievances
Handle cases related to sexual harassment and work towards proactive prevention of such matters.
Work on zero tolerance policy and various case Management. Should work on Sexual Harassment / Domestic Investigation / Disciplinary action against misconduct / Behavioral cases / Knowledge of employment law / ER procedures and processes.
Ability to assess potential problems and make recommendations from an ER/Litigation perspective.
Partner with L&D, HRBP & HR Operations in developing an employee relations capability within the HR community and wider organization through training, advice and counsel.
Anticipate future potential changes in the employee relations legal environment, both locally and internationally, and work ahead of the curve to mitigate risks and recommend changes.
Liaise with other investigative functions within the Company (e.g. Compliance, Internal Audit and within HR) to ensure consistency and leverage best practices.
Must be able to travel with short notice/unpredictable schedule.
