manager sales - south in chennai

Maintain long term relationships with Structural Consultants , Architects, Civil & Piling Contractors

- Travelling to potential customers project sites, getting involved in an early stage of new projects and advising customers on potential solutions.

- Understand customer needs and be able to provide design assistance to the customers with infrastructure, construction and piling companies.

- Negotiating tenders and contract terms to meet both client and company needs.

- Calculating clients offers/quotations.

- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions with customers and suppliers.

- Project follow-up, ensure a proper project management with all parties involved in the project.

- Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.

- Strengthening existing customer relationships & developing new potential ones.

- Aggressively increase market share and closely monitor upcoming projects in the Eastern regions of India.

- Marketing analysis: to monitor & evaluate the local competitors and follow the market evolutions.

- Technical promotion: be able to assimilate the technical promotion of our products and to offer it with our customers as per their requirements.

- Offering after-sales support services and solving client problems.

- To achieve yearly sales targets

qualification

In-depth knowledge of prevailing design & construction practices especially in the temporary shoring industry. Previous experience with soil nailing / ground anchors will be an added advantage.

- Techno-commercial acumen to create new opportunities & conclude business with penchant for Sales. Ability to create & nurture long term relationships across stakeholders in government & private sectors.

- Receptive to idea and a quick learner with ability to conceptualize innovative solutions & look beyond conventional norms & practices.

- A performance oriented team player with global outlook.

- Gravity, patience & perseverance with long term horizon

- Self-starter, confidant & multi linguistic personality with good communication skills.
