Leading the advertising sales team
Responsible for achieving the advertising sales targets for daily news print and 11 magazines
Must be able to create innovative advertising solutions for the clients.
Must display creative leadership in handling clients, advertisers, and the team.
Devising and implementing strategies to trigger subscription growth of the Daily and periodicals in the assigned territory.
Advertising promotion of the Daily, and 11 magazines, networking with clients & agencies and constantly innovating and creating exciting commercial opportunities.
Implementation of promotional strategies, from time to time.
Identifying and promoting new areas of development.
Achieving targets for each publication.
Analysis and interpretation of budget/performance data and market information.
Liaison with advertisers and advertising agencies.
General administration and maintenance of discipline at the New Delhi office.
Supervision, direction and control of the Advertisement, Circulation teams and other administrative staff at the New Delhi Branch office.
Effectively networking with corporate functional heads at Head Office, Kozhikode and carrying out their instructions from time to time.
Co-ordination with the Editorial team and ensuring timely production of the New Delhi Edition.
Liaison with Government agencies, media houses, advertisers, advertising agencies, newspaper agents, printers, contractors, vendors, industry associations etc. and such other public relation work, as are assigned from time to time.
- Must be M.B.A. in Sales/Marketing with excellent communication skills [written & oral].
- Must have 10+ years of print media ad/space selling experience in News Media company / Entertainment.
