Develop and implement the business strategy, including a comprehensive marketing plan for each of the market segments with a sense of urgency to achieve our desired target market position.
Lead the business team and foster good communication, team work, and alignment.
Work with the segment technical leader to ensure proper/timely completion of market focused projects.
Manage the performance and development of employees and ensure we have the right talent and organizational capabilities.

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of new drug development of pharma companies and identifies opportunity based on that.
Keep close contact with the industry, stay abreast of trends, and maintain critical relationships.
Take necessary action to improve the overall marketing and sales capabilities of our organization.
Coordinate with Supply chain on requirement trends
Prepare a forecast for sales for short term, mid-term and long term
Ensure maximum realization and be able to make on spot decisions
Identify new market opportunities and introduce new products.
Monitor competitor landscape on a monthly basis and revise strategies based on that.
Conduct technical seminars for customers highlighting company strengths
Liaison with school colleges and relevant academic personalities to ensure promotion
Navigate the team to ensure realization of budgets.

Pre Requisites
M Pharm and thorough understanding of Pharmaceutics of tableting
Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or business management with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical excipients.
knowledge of new drug development of pharma companies and identifies opportunity based on that.
Preferably experience in Tableting excipient (inactive substance that serves as medium for a drug) marketing
Willing and ability to travel more than 30-40% of the time.
Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs on a global scale.
Experience dealing with senior commercial and technical decision makers.
Effective leadership in complex and matrix organizations.
Excellent communication skill and ability.
