**Genie Marketing Specialist Job Description****Overview:**Genie is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Brand Strategyteam and help drive global demand for a diverse portfolio of mobile elevatingwork platform products, options and accessories. Reporting to the MarketingManager - Vertical Markets & Channels, you will be responsible for marketresearch, promotional campaign collateral, and channel development support. Inthis role, you'll collaborate closely with those in Brand Strategy, MarketingOperations, and Regional Field Marketing, to support lead generation goals bycoordinating high-quality promotional tools and customer engagementactivities.**Responsibilities:**Work under the direction and guidance of the Marketing Manager to deliver end-user owner / operator market research and industry insightsDevelop promotional content and messaging that clearly articulates products'value propositions for a variety of industries - showcasing their capabilitiesand differentiation per applicationSupport generation of a wide variety of campaign activities, sales training,and metric reportsCoordinate marketing expenditures including budget trackers, invoice approvalsand vendor managementBe the go-to expert on vertical market trends, and the competitive landscapeDevelop internal/external presentations, webinars, and prospect engagementsBe an excellent communicator who can engage teams across functions as well asexternal stakeholders**Knowledge and Skills:**Demonstrated promotional campaign content developmentAbility to work well and take direction in a cross-functional team environmentCan effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholdersGenuine passion for understanding owner / operators and what drives them tomake purchase decisionsComfortable handling multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated self-starter - ability to take initiative and navigate ambiguityStrength in dealing with tight deadlines and rapidly changing environmentExceptional written skills and experience producing written contentDemonstrated project management skills and experience with visual statusreportingProficiency in communication, word-processing, spreadsheet and presentationsoftwareProblem-solving skills, with an ability to identify risks, resolve issues, andcommunicate with stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills - team player with a positive attitudeFlexibility in working with different time zones, especially PSTAnalytical with strong attention to detailAbility to travel up to 10%**Minimum Qualifications:**2+ years of relevant work experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, orsales enablementBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field**Preferred Qualifications:**Experience working within an OEMExperience working for an e-commerce businessBroad understanding of various marketing tools and campaign tacticsAbility to present data and make campaign improvement recommendationsBackground in customer research - both quantitative and qualitative
