We are looking for an experienced Material Planner to support our Plant Maintenance Turnaround (PMTA) division. The role involves ensuring timely availability of materials, tools, and spare parts required for turnaround/shutdown activities in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry plants.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, forecast, and manage material requirements for turnaround/shutdown projects.
• Review Bill of Materials (BoM), job packs, and work orders to identify material needs.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, stock levels, and issue slips.
• Ensure critical spares and consumables are available before shutdown execution.
• Track shortages and expedite urgent material requests.
• Support maintenance planners, engineers, and execution teams during PMTA projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for materials and tools.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / Supply Chain / related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as Material Planner / Maintenance Planner / Turnaround Planner in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, turnaround/shutdown planning, and spare parts management.
• Proficiency in SAP PM/MM, ERP, or similar systems.• Strong coordination, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work under tight turnaround deadlines and handle urgent requirements.
