RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK PROFILE –a. Responsibility of Microbiologist
● Responsible for water sampling required for microanalysis.
● Responsible for environmental monitoring in controlled area and micro lab.
● Cleaning and sterilization validation exposure. CIP validation knowledge.
● Responsible for storage and maintenance of microbial culture.
● Responsible for analysis of the raw materials , Bulk , Intermediates and
finished goods
● Responsible for handling and storage of media, its sterilization, discard as per
SOP.
● Proper knowledge of various hygiene classes and requirements.
● Responsible for preparation of work instruction of Instruments & SOPs of
Microbiology section. ● Process exposure w.r.t CCP, OPRP and CTQ.
● Responsible for calibration of instrument and related documentation and
maintenance of the record.
● Responsible for QMS and Food safety system management certification.
● Training skill of Food Safety, personal Hygiene, GHP and GMP. FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES NEEDED –
Microbiological Testing background preferably in beverages / Juice industries with SAP
