**National Sales Manager****Overall purpose of job:**\- Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market shareand profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan(ABP). \- To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets brand wise, pack wiseas per ABP, help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly &daily targets. \- To motivate & direct Sales team to establish coverage, distribution anddisplay objectives to meet sales targets. \- To plan and implement local sales promotion in consultation with marketing. \- To analyze stock movement/availability \- Help business head in developing long term pricing strategy to maximizevariable margin through product/ territory/ pack mix decisions. \- Regularly have commercial review with Commercial Manager for profitabilityand working capital including debtors. \- Have a clear focus on new channels like Institutions and Modern Trade tobuild Distribution, Visibility and volumes. \- Work out a training calendar for all players in the Sales Organization andimplement the same. \- Work towards reduction in cost with optimum quality of product development \- Responsible for expansion of CSD sales. Special requirements, external and internal contacts, travel, workingconditions, etc \- To achieve Turnover & Profit targets \- Increase of Market Share in the region \- Recruit, Develop & retain quality manpower -External contacts : Channel partners, Distributors, Agency. Internal contacts : \- MD, VP-Foods, Commercial Manager, Business/Function Heads,Regional BusinessManagers, 2p/3p Units, Corporate Logistics, Marketing, R&D, Oils sourcinggroup, Education, qualifications, special training, experience and skills Management Graduate from one of the premier institutes with 20-25 years ofSales and Marketing experience out of which majority of the time should havebeen in sales function. A minimum of 10 years' sales experience in an FMCGcompany of repute is a must. Should have worked in at least two regions of thecountry and should have handled at least one zone for a period of 5-8 years.
