The Operations Head will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing, servicing, project management and customer service functions related to high technology heat treatment furnaces manufactured by the company
- Materials management including stores / inventory control and logistics handling
- Purchase functions
- Plant maintenance
- Technical functions related to coordinating electrical and mechanical engineering including coordination with company’s overseas principals and group companies
- Coordinating PLC based software engineering operations related to company’s products
- Industrial relations, Personnel management, handling of trade unions, negotiating wage agreements
- Conflict resolution, dispute handling
- Customer handling, customer satisfaction
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Budgeting and forecasting including manpower planning to achieve group management’s vision
·Participation in strategy development
·Custodian of company’s related Standard Operating Procedures, Operations Manuals, and responsible for their proper implementation.
·Coordinate all line function departments e.g. Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Service, Engineering etc for achieving objectives
·Customer project execution – coordination with Engineering / Purchase / Production/Q.A./Logistics for timely deliveries and customer satisfaction
·Outstanding payment collection
·Creditor management
·Focus on cost reduction by scientific analysis of commodity and other market trends and proper negotiation
·Monitor project execution schedules very closely within the organization and also with the customer
·Ensure customer satisfaction during every stage of the project execution
·Develop a strong and motivated team across all the functions within organisation
