The incumbent will be responsible for all plant operations with over all responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality & other production related activities.
He will co-ordinate plant activities through planning, with department managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely & cost effective manner.
Overall in-charge of manufacturing/operations of all units* for ensuring smoothfunctioning and achieve targets
Total responsibility for the profitability of all the units
Performance monitoring of entire Operations teams
Manage all technical issues as per policies laid down and industry norms of manufacturing
Coordination with various team members/client representatives
Approving/Authorising implementation of Process Plans for all units
Material Plans, Production Schedules, Facility & Infrastructure planning work out machinery and manpowerrequirement of all units
Planning of Man, Machine and Material
Optimize productivity and minimize idle time
Cost of poor quality to be minimized
Ensure/Improve Schedule Adherence to 90%+ and Quality targets of all customers
Implementation and monitoring of Preventive and Predictive machine maintenance
Implementation of continuous improvement activity
