plant manager - operations in visakhapatnam

?1) Directing the entire gamut of manufacturing / operations with key focus on top-line and bottom-line profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
2) Ability to develop project plan from mission statement to final assessment.
3) Supervising the operational system of the plant and responsible for planning, organizing, and regulating the production and maintenance operations to guarantee effective return on capital.
4) Managing day-to-day operations, formulating policies, and implementing the use of physical
assets and human resources.
5) Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
6) Evolving strategies for managing the production processes by initiating modifications for lowering rejection rate, realizing operational efficiencies, controlling variability, costs as well as reducing the cycle-time.
7) Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, pricing and distribution of goods. Monitor performance and implement improvements. Ensure quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary.
8) Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company.
9) Responsible for Cost center Budget, savings and recovery.
10) Plan the use of human resources. Organize recruitment and placement of required staff.
Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance.
11) Ensuring EHS requirement implementation based on EMS/OHSAS requirements in shop floor.
12) Ensuring quality requirement based on ISO requirements in shop floor.
13) Streamlining processes, defined continuous improvement processes, accelerated employees
strengths & built powerful teams that can conquer any obstacles.
14) Conducting Audits & Gap analysis: KPI � System Audits, Process Audits, Evaluation & Implementation.
15) Sourcing & Supply Chain: Driving Strategic Sourcing & Supply chain levers, Commodity management Segmentation, Assessment model & Opportunity mapping.
16) Supervising the operational system of the plant and responsible for planning, organizing, and
regulating the production and maintenance operations to guarantee effective return on capital.
17) Overseeing production, purchasing of capital equipment, hiring personnel, and other
administrative services
18) Responsible for training, selecting, and motivating plant supervisory and administrative staff achieve an effective use of manpower and enhance human resource utilization within every department.
19) Manage customer support. Plan and support sales and marketing activities.
20) Direct product enhancement, development and introduction of high sellable new models.
21) Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, Accounts and
Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
22) Liaise with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.

?Plant operations, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Prefabrication experience, People Management

qualification

?? Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree with MS in business or operations;
? 15-20 Years Experience with at least 7-8 proven years in equal local management experience;
? 10 years in fabrication and machinery experience with an understanding of work flow and constraints theories;
? Proven managerial knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management;
? Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources);
? Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices;
? Knowledge of human resource principles and practices;
