    Position Title:  Pricing Manager

    Direct Report: Finance Director

    Company: A leading Animal Nutrition COmpany

    Job Location: Hyderabad

     

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The role of Pricing Manager, first priority of the role is to assess the specific needs of the business in terms of pricing structure and methodology followed by initiating and implementing a pricing process and structure for India in where collaboration between the different functions (Sales, Procurement and Finance) is essential. The role also implies commercial support of the GM of TN India to ensure that a proper customer and pricing strategy is applied in the India market.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assess the specific business needs of India about pricing and profit optimization.
    • Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels.
    • Initiate, design and implement a pricing process for India.
    • Drive and facilitate the pricing process (plan and lead meetings with Sales, Procurement and Finance)
    • Perform and support specific customer/market analysis and advise on the appropriate pricing strategy .
    • Perform partnering with, purchasing buyers, product managers and sales organization to assure integrated plus profit maximizing approach to market.
    • Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
    • Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Qualified CA / ICWA with 5 to 7 yrs experience.
    • Independent and self-starter who loves to connect different disciples (“spider in the web”) to help maximize results.
    • Excellent analytical skills and highly skilled in Excel.
    • Prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating a pricing process documentation.
    • Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail.
