Qualifications and Experience
PhD in Economics, Sociology, Commerce, or related fields.
Minimum of 15 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years of post-PhD experience and 5 years in academic administration.
Proven track record in academic leadership, including 5 years of experience as a Principal or in a senior leadership role within a higher education institution.
Extensive experience in curriculum design, implementation, and academic program development.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead, inspire, and engage faculty, students, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Lead academic, operational, and financial functions, ensuring alignment with the institution’s vision and objectives.
Supervise and mentor faculty across the departments of Commerce, Economics, and English.
Oversee the admissions process.
Spearheaded curriculum development to ensure that academic programs meet the highest standards of excellence.
Promote interdisciplinary collaboration between the Liberal Arts, Commerce, and English departments.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards for higher education institutions.
Represent the institution at national and international academic forums, establishing partnerships with top-tier universities.
Cultivate an inclusive student community while ensuring the provision of high-quality student services.
