?Job Description:
Position is accountable for multiple program assignments, scope, schedule, budget, and program execution. Position is also responsible for implementation and execution of Program management best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Value Stream the procurement process.
- Map out the Value added activities, Identify areas of improvement.
Work with Procurement, Planning, manufacturing sites and Commodity Management teams to drive improvement projects.
- Provide guidance to teams on how to meet PG2 requirements prior to requesting funding
- Highlight issues where under or over spending is likely, make recommendations for funding changes as appropriate based upon program performance and root cause and corrective actions
- Program performance through regular program reviews and drive issue resolution.
- Participate in core program reviews where appropriate to ensure Business level communication.
- Participate in the development of process improvement plans for Procurement
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business and Technical discipline
- Minimum 8 years of related project management experience required.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Project software.
- Advanced degree is preferred (MS or MBA)
- Proficient in EVMS projects performance metrics assessment and reporting.
- Program management experience: schedule, scope, and risk management, also Finance/budgeting.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with SAP highly desired.
- Strong leadership skills, Self-motivated.
- Persistent and Proactive and able to manage and keep up with projects that may or may not be related among themselves.
- Well Organized / Detail oriented /Critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of Six sigma tools and preferably Certifiied.
- Team player/ ability to work well with others and share information.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
