product development designer in visakhapatnam

?1) Create, introduce, design, develop and enhance companys products to meet the
management input and market/customers requirement.
2) Review/assess requirement, conduct planning sessions with team member, and generate
concept design.
3) Brainstorm, investigate, evaluate, & implement new technologies to improve the design,
construction, and reliability.
4) Perform time-domain robustness, failure, and performance analysis and provide detailed
reports with corrective actions.
5) Run tests and review data from vendors & cross-functional groups to verify all specifications
are met.
6) Develop approved concept into final products with implementing simulation, analysis and
prototyping within time and budget given.
7) Perform analyses and validation using simulations and Monte-Carlo analysis to satisfy toplevel
system specifications and requirements.
8) Develop complete designs incorporating sheet metal, injection molded, and machined parts
by delivering quality documentation.
9) Develop and maintain model documentation and databooks.
10) Coordinate actively with other departments (mainly supply-chain management and
production) to identify constraints and facilitate production.
11) Perform value-stream analysis through the use of simulations and Support decision making
on process layout through the use of data.

13) Provide thought leadership on latest technology trends, identify strategic opportunities for
both existing and new markets and help to build relationship with current and potential
customers.
14) Promote team awareness of the latest technological advances and utilize state-of-the-art
technology to produce professional proposals in a timely manner.

?Experience with simulation & analysis methods (FEA, CFD, and statistical tolerance analysis)
with tools like ANSYS, FloTherm, ICEPAK and MATLAB/Simulink

?BS/MS Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering (or
equivalent);
? 5-7 years of experience in simulation and modeling of complex manufacturing environments
involving a variety of fabrication processes, drawings, tolerancing, and vendor engagement to
yield assemblies that meet design intent;
? 3+ years consumer end product design with a deep understanding of system level tradeoffs
(thermals, structural, mechanicals, power, reliability, cost, etc.) as well as detail design of
associated components;
? Experience with simulation & analysis methods (FEA, CFD, and statistical tolerance analysis)
with tools like ANSYS, FloTherm, ICEPAK and MATLAB/Simulink
? Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals: properties of materials, solid
mechanics, and thermodynamics;
? Familiarity with multiple metal/steel manufacturing techniques such as injection-molding,
machining, die-cutting, etc;
? Familiarity with IBC / IRC (international building code).
? Experience with electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical subsystems;
? Possess ability to perform concept analysis with estimates and develop it through data driven
decisions to detailed design, prototyping, and production line design;
? Ability to setup and execute tests with clear goals and outcomes;
? Experience in manufacturing, supply chain and/or distribution and logistics;
? Experience in using scientific methods to solve problems: hypothesis development,
