Ensure Project Management Gates are implemented within all projects assigned and prevent deviations.
Liaise with various teams in the organization to ensure end to end planning and delivery of the projects assigned.
Manage project progress and control slippages. Produce updated schedule as per the defined PMO Standards.
Escalate deviations to the PMO Head and Stakeholders in a timely manner and take necessary actions to bring the project on track.
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
Execute the project according to the project plan
Manage the issues, risks and dependencies, required to articulate mitigations, resolutions plans and drive path forward for high-level work items and work with service delivery leaders to take corrective action as needed
Set up process to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Establish a communication schedule to update client including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Review and project progress to senior management and client on a regular basis (monthly/ bimonthly)
Ensure that all financial and timesheet related records for the project are up to date
Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
Working Knowledge in any project management tool Clarizen, JIRA etc.
Proven experience in project management.
Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Experience as a construction project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager.
Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
Understanding of ERP implementation.
Experience overseeing a construction project.
Budget management experience.
