Position : Propulsion Systems Thermal Management DirectorJob location : BangaloreSalary : 60 LPA Experience : Oversee and contribute to the development and optimization of the vehicle's thermal architecture including the propulsion and refrigeration subsystems • Drive the R&D effort for thermal management of the powertrain, battery, etc., to deliver best performance in range, NVH, and overall comfort leading to excellent customer experience • Drive the development of numerical models to define, validate, and evaluate system performance and perform cost-benefit analysis • Oversee and contribute to the development of the software controlling the thermal profiles by collaborating with the firmware and integration engineers Create development and validation test plans to characterize, test and calibrate thermal components on all the subsystems • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers and establish requirements for actuation and sensing of the thermal profile of the system and subsystems • Drive the design and development of the relevant subsystems, interfaces, and interactions in sync with the engineering team to ensure the specific requirements are met • Oversee the coordination with other engineering teams in ensuring the NVH and thermal profile of the vehicle is as desired Experience with designing innovative thermal management systems for Hybrid or Electrical vehicle • R&D experience on coolants and heat dissipation in energy storage is a plus • Experience with BEV is required
