Job DescriptionNetwork Operations Engineer   Position Purpose: Network Operations Engineers will be asked to deliver top-tier global network infrastructure support. Network Operations' mission is to enable the business by way of excellent customer service while striving to keep all network-based infrastructure up and available. Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Plan, design, and develop local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. He or she will ensure proper installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links as well as accurately analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely manner.Provide a high level of technical leadership for the company LAN and WAN environment.Provide research and recommendations for network operating procedures and standards to assure optimum network systems availability and performancePerform independent research prepare direction papers for the LAN and WAN environments Perform project management and other special assignments as determined by the Network Operational Manager.Perform written Root Cause Analysis documents for network outages and incidents when required.Development and design of highly available, tightly integrated, secure, flexible, and fault-tolerant networking systems.Monitors network performance, ensuring capacity planning is performed and is proactive in assessing and making recommendations for improvement.
