?The following list of duties and responsibilities is intended to reflect the principal elements of the Head of Quality Control & Safety ROLE only and is therefore not exhaustive:

- Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programme and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
- Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required Northstar qualities and standards.
- Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
- Assisting Quality Assurance and Project Partner and/or Director Technical such BBS same as in construction drawing.
- Issue site specific report of the quality parameters of delivered materials.
- Waterproofing checking underground level and in wet areas in the building.
- Following up the concreting works in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, Monitoring sample collection of cubes preparation for the compressive test as and when required.
- Finishing work checking in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, block, plaster, painting, tiling, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, ceiling and light fittings, as per the drawing within the tolerances .
- Monitor and maintain the line and level of the Brick and Block works at sites with the help of the site engineers and QC ENGINEER.
- Ensuring the line and level and other requirements by monitoring of the RCC and concrete works.
- Monitor the Recordings the Non compliance recording of the items if they vary from the specifications or do not meet the quality requirement, stop the site if required.
- Monitor and control of the defects to be recorded and ensure they are addressed by the contractor.
- Maintain standards of safety and comply with Companys Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.
- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality compliances.
- To have read, understood and comply with Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Maintain and produce, on request, up-to-date Health & Safety records.
- Ensure all Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to.
- Ensure that all staff, contractors, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted.
- Take ownership of agreed build programmes at and help the Project Manager all the times to reach the required parameter without compromising the quality.
- Fully conform to building regulations and insurance providers requirements
- Ensure cost effective production in line with development budgets by ensuring that the work undertaken is in full accordance with the cost provision allocated and as confirmed in cost valuations.
- Help the PM in Organizing regular site production meetings and pre-plan and ensure efficient usage of all resources, including application of quality supervision and communication regime of labour, sub-contractors, plant and materials.
- Ensure that anything which is likely to affect the Companys performance is notified to the Project Partner and Director Technical or Designated Management representative immediately.
- Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Chairman garu or Designated Management representative in accordance with Company Policy.
- Attend and minute the daily/weekly and monthly meetings, Ensure that practical procedures are followed at site. Ensure sensible level of stock control in accordance with build requirements including proper checking and recording of deliveries.
- Ensure the quality of finished product accords with Company and customer expectations.
- Build in accordance with relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Building Regulations and Government requirements in force at the time.
- Monitor the inspections by QC Engineer and snag each plot prior to each Nortstar key stage inspection.
- Ensure all site administration is carried out in accordance with divisional Head Office requirements.
- Always represent Northstar Homes professionally in both personal appearance and conduct.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks in accordance with operational needs as requested by your managers.

Qualifications and training - desirable
- BTEC Civil or Masters in Civil Engineering or similar with around 20 years of experience
- Qualified to the required Auditing standards and obtain certificate as applicable
Experience
- Trade experience and at least 15 years of relevant experience preferable
- Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and NBC

Special requirements
- Current driving license preferable
- Should have own vehicle for mobility between sites
- Should have a own Laptop
