**Auditor, Quality (Telecom)****Classification**Exempt**JOB DESCRIPTION**This is a position with strong experience in the field of quality auditing.Under liberal supervision, the Quality Auditor monitors the work activities ofassigned operations for conformance with Telamon, client, and industry qualityassurance standards. Typically handles moderately complex quality audits andmay provide guidance to Associate Quality Auditors.** Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Drive and monitor formal Audits of the company according to Telamon and applicable Client Procedure * Follow up of planning of each audit, including: notification of auditees, analysis, recommendation and submittal for approval of the Audit Plan, ensure that Audit Plan has been dispatched to auditees, providing assistance to auditors during the steps of preparation, * Act as a facilitator of audits and Interface with all auditors and auditees * Ensure the completion of the audit within reasonable due time. * Ensure that conclusions of the audit are understood by the auditees. * Manage and monitor nonconformities with respect to the Telamon and applicable Client Procedure * Ensure that nonconformities are correctly entered into Telamon and applicable Client systems and all sections are fulfilled; make sure relevant persons are notified on occurrence of nonconformance, * Follow the responsiveness of process owners on nonconformities treatment. * Follow up the Corrective and Preventive actions * Make sure quality incidents are recorded into Telamon and applicable Client systems, * Ensure investigations are conducted and root causes are identified, * Ensure Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions are established and recorded into Telamon and applicable Client systems, * Monitor the Corrective/Preventive actions following the Telamon and applicable Client Procedures, * Promote Opportunities for Improvement within the organization * Use the results of Audit to identify opportunities for improvement for all Telamon processes * Monitor Opportunities for Improvement in Telamon and applicable Client systems * Participate in improvement teams utilizing Six Sigma Methodologies, data collection, SPC, reporting and charting to promote improvements within Telamon projects * Review process information such as drawings, pick tickets and assembly checklists; perform process audits; inspect products at various stages of operation including other Telamon locations and the field; verify tests performed, record results, and confirm that records comply with quality procedures/ specifications * Support Operations in establishing Accept and Reject criteria & incorporate Customer Quality requirements * Utilize Cycle Time Reduction theory and technique in making improvement suggestions to Operations * Observe workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to safety and quality procedures **Physical Requirements:** * Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. * Ability to work on ladders * Ability to work with/around electrical wires and/or ESD products * Ability to work remotely at construction or installation sites**Travel/Shift Work:** * Ability to travel within the U.S. and Mexico may be required**Skills and Abilities Required:** * Familiarity with the Telamon, Client, and Industry standards applicable to the assignment * Familiarity with the Telamon and Client systems applicable to the assignment * Ability to work independently * Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills * Proficiency with standard office software**Certificates, Licenses and Registrations****For Corporate Quality Auditors** --- Within 6 months of start|Within 1 year of start * ISO Quality Auditor Training 2 Day Course * TL9000 Overview Class| * TL9000 32 Hour Quality System Requirements with Metrics for Auditors Course OR * TS16949 Internal Auditor Training **Education and Experience Required:** * 2 years of experience as an Associate Quality Auditor and 2 years of experience in a leadership role OR * A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar field plus 2 years of related experience in a leadership role OR * 6 years of experience performing inspection or similar duties either in electronics assembly, telecommunication equipment installation, rack and stacking, assembly plant or warehousing inventory controlThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the onlyduties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.Employee(s) will be required to follow any other job related instructions andto perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized togive instructions or assignments.A review of this position has excluded the marginal functions of the positionthat are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties.
