Job Description
To develop user friendly, performant and accessible customer facing sites using latest process and technology to make the product development, testing, build and productions release workflow processes efficient.
The React front-end developer applies usability principles and procedures as defined by UX/UI input with an emphasis on a user-focused approach in building sites and works with designer, developers and product owners.
Responsibilities
- Development of high quality customer facing online products.
- Building re-usable utilities and components that can be re-used across multiple sites
- Optimising web page load speed and scalabitity.
- Help evaluate cutting edge technologies using proof of concepts to make front-end delivery more efficient and user friendly.
- Implement high QA testing standards for products
- Help improve code quality by utlising good code review best pratices
- Collaborate with designers, developers and product owners to efficiently deliver on business requirements
- Proactively proposing improvements to processes, technologies and tools.

Skills and Qualifications
- A high standard of written and spoken English is required.
Experience of:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and React.js
- Experience in developing reusable component using Storybook
- Good experience of Node.js
- Github, Github Actions
- Testing framework (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Understanding of Next.js and other React based framework
- Experience in Serverless platform, Vercel
- AWS experience
- User Experience design
- NodeJS
- REST API
- Experience web site page load performance and accessibility optimization tools: Core Web Vitals and Google Lighthouse
- 4 plus years experience in a similar job required prior to taking up this position.
- Proficient in Agile PM tools like Jira.
