The main responsibility of this role is to oversee all technical operations and technical development related to admixture products in the assigned region. This includes driving market segment strategies, supporting sales budgets, and ensuring the technical nature of the role extends across all channels.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Ensuring approval and commercial viability of admixture products at customer sites to meet regional targets and generate revenue.
- Retaining customers by providing regular updates on products and services related to admixture.
- Conducting troubleshooting and providing technical support as needed.
- Updating product specifications.
- Developing and implementing strategies for product development, modification, and technical service requests.
- Analyzing customer requirements, suggesting suitable product solutions, and obtaining customer approval.
- Assisting senior sales staff in strategic planning and business plan implementation, including pricing, promotion, and market share strategies.
- Conducting trials at cement and batching plants, troubleshooting issues, and providing necessary information to the sales and technical teams.
- Communicating with clients for product promotion and negotiating price, terms, and conditions with corporate customers.
- Providing inputs to the technical and quality control teams regarding customer requirements for new product development.
- Tracking competitor activities, generating market intelligence reports, and analyzing competitor samples.
- Managing key accounts, ensuring customer retention, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
- Preparing reports on sales and technical activities related to admixture products.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
- Conducting training sessions for the technical and sales teams, as well as customer presentations and seminars.
- Managing company assets at customer sites, such as dosing pumps and storage facilities.
- Coordinating closely with the supply chain and factory regarding raw material inventory, reorder levels, and new equipment requirements.
