regional sales engineer - electrical connectors in bengaluru / bangalore

OBJECTIVE

ØTo develop new customers, promote company product application, solution and achieve sales revenue for its own territory (AP, Telangana & North Karnataka) and develop modular connector and harness business.

ØPursue sales leads and generate business within multiple sectors – Energy/PTD, Automotive, Railways, Pharma, Machinery & General Industries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 SWOT analysis for your own territory market, collect information about competition, potential market volume, current market share and customers’ feedback.

ØAggressively exploit the territory to identify new target customers and new sales opportunities.

ØPlan and organize sales activities, such as demo, seminars, solution presentation to find out customer needs and transform opportunities to order

ØPlan the sales activities and make regular visits to customers, 3-4 customer visits per day.

ØInvolve in forecasting with the manager for allotted geography and preparing a blueprint to implement the same.

ØDevelop a repeatable sales model that ensures consistent success and revenue growth.

ØParticipate and actively participate in the product exhibitions to promote the product and generate leads.

ØKeeps up to date of the market developments, new projects, changes. Ability to tap new markets based on market awareness & provide right technical solutions and product information / demonstrations to the customers and prospects

Technical

ØGood knowledge of electrical connector industry (products, standards, competition) & key markets for the same

ØGood knowledge of the main players in the private sector, automotive end users & their tier 1 , tier 2 suppliers, PTD, military-aerospace, rail, medical, test and measurement markets, test bench manufacturers.

ØAbility to manage the long sales cycle from initial contact to first order, steps both technical and sales related that need to be addressed one by one.
