?Responsibilities
"Prepare a month by month plan for meeting the annual sales target for the sales area (zone)
- Allocate targets among concern RSM/Distributors of the Zone. - Ensure Sales Budget is prepared and implemented across the zones/regions and adherence to compliance of the same.

- Perform trials at the customer location/"
Update management about key trends in the market towards enabling sharper decision making on product portfolio, pricing, etc
"Identify new opportunities in the market
- Track and monitor new customers and new product opportunities"
"Manage the distributors across Zones
- Conduct monthly coordination meetings (MCM) to review and discuss business promotional and commercial issues for the month e.g. sales vs. targets, new promotions and product status, inventory movement, receivables, etc
- Review distributor performance - By appointing new Retailers in zones/areas"
Build and maintain relationships with direct customers in order to ensure retention and expansion of business among existing customers
"Ensure that receivables are in line with the agreed terms in order that there are nil overdues
- Review receivables report
- Follow up with distributors and direct customers"
Direct and train the distributor's technical staff preparing visit plan, collections, product promotion activity support, follow up with logistics team, etc
Implement plans based on customer complaints, distributor feedback
"Ensure delivery on targets set for new product sales and identify new areas in zones for launching/re - lauching our products.
- Ensure smooth implementation of all new product promotion activities"
"Ensure adherence to all sales procedures, processes and legal requirements in order to have smooth and efficient sales process
- Ensure collection of 'C' forms within the deadline"
"Perform the role of a people manager for the team
- Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall team's KRA's, conduct performance appraisal, ensure clarity and delineation of individual roles, appropriate delegation of responsibility
- Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, and drive suitable reward and recognition policies for sales force in consultation with CEO & HR.
- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution, manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets"
