Qualifications and Requirements
- Masters in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology) with 1-2 years of Industry Experience
- Searching, extracting data from scientific literature (e.g., PubMed) and biological databases
- Able to understand the biology and draw conclusions
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must
- Verbal and written communication, and data analysis skills
- Work closely with others in a team environment
- Should be prepared to accommodate the US EST work hours, when required.
- Having some experience in data science programming languages is a plus, but not essential
Responsibilities:
- Will work with the Discovery Biology team assisting in the biological data analysis
- Contribute in developing analytical methodologies to meet the project goals
- Extract and Analyze the data from AlphaMeld, conduct quality control analyses for the set criteria
- Review the scientific literature data from public domain and aid team in developing biologically relevant concepts
- Participate in the team meetings and present project progress to the team when required
- Write and prepare summaries in MS WORD or in MS PowerPoint
- Perform other duties as assigned
