Job Summary: Dedicated Application Engineer (m/w/d) to act as the technical contact for our variable
speed drives product line. In this position, you will be responsible for processing technical inquiries,
preparing proposals, and handing over orders to project management.

Support global sales in managing customer projects within the Power Generation and Oil & Gas
sectors
Prepare commercial and technical proposals for our products, working closely with our sales
team.
Conduct product selection and review project requirements and specifications in order to define
scope of delivery
Conduct feasibility checks (incl. risk assessment, and evaluation of costs and delivery time), with
support from departments such as Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
Conduct technical clarifications with customers, finalize the technical scope of delivery, and hand
over orders to relevant departments, including the necessary documentation.
In addition, you contribute actively to the continuous improvement of tools and processes.
Requirements:
Mechanical engineering graduate
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer (m/f/d) in the capital
goods industry --- experience in the energy sector or in rotating machinery is a plus.
We require very good English skills, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel occasionally national and internal (mainly APAC region); willingness to attend
trainings in HQ in Germany.
Strong intercultural competence, good communication skills, and entrepreneurial thinking and
acting.
