Job Summary
Identify new business opportunities and through developing existing and new
business accounts in field of logistics and transportation. Undertake new
business sales calls to win new business. Field visits for Sales calls to get new
business.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply
Chain Management or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent combination of
work and education. / Equivalent combination of work experience) • Minimum 2
years industry experience preferred
Responsibilities and Duties
 Develop PTL, FTL (Full truck load), Warehousing & Distribution
Business for the company through approaching new business customers.
 Generate leads through existing and new contacts for business in field of PTL,
FTL & 3PL
 Daily Sales calls visit to customers
 Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.
 To develop and maintain good relationship with managerial level staff at
customer’s end
 Develop a system for strong payments follow-up and should be able to take
responsibility of accounts and outstanding.
 Strong Vendor, vehicle owners / brokers network.
 Field Marketing to win new business.
Skills and Competencies
 Business Professional.
 Ability to work in family managed business set up.
 Mentally strong to do sales and marketing
 Hard worker. Must enjoy field work and sales calls.
 Confidence in undertaking presentations to vast number of people
 Analytic skills to review both financial and operational data.
 Proven Negotiation Skills complied with the ability to close business wins
 Customer oriented & team player
 Able to use MS office, Power-point, Excel and some other PC applications
 Able to work under pressure where needed
 Able to travel to other cities
 Good time management techniques
 Excellent reporting abilities
