seeking a qualified sales manager to help keep our revenue engine running through his own skill and the leadership of a team of driven sales agents / distributors. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate sales agents / distributors in India to achieve higher revenues and profitability.

Objectives of this Role

  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings in front of customers
  • Find customers across India and identify how our solutions meet them
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, analyzing customer demand, establishing profitable pricing of our products, achieving sales target, collecting on time payments etc.
  • Continuously develop personal leadership skills to enhance company’s brand, image and reputation in the Indian market
  • Hunt for the public bids with National or State governments, analysing the bids, participating in the bids in a compliant manner electronically (e-bidding) or thru conventional bidding process and representing the company for further cost negotiations and for contract finalisation
  • Generate sales leads, and build and nurture client relationships
  • Sales manager also needs to supply the forecast to allow the company to order purchase and to manage cost negotiations with local as well as international suppliers.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Manage complete sales cycle – bids, quotation, negotiation, contract / Purchase order finalisation, on time deliveries, installation, end user training and after sales & support (maintenance) etc.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration or specialist in respiratory physiotherapy  desirable. A person with Electronic or Mechanical Engineering degree will be preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 7+ years in leading sales team along with over all 10-12 years of sales management expereince within a corporate setting from similar industry background
  • Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Superb leadership ability
  • Market awareness and hunger to win business in challenging environment
  • Ability to travel at least 30-40% of the time across India. Overseas travel to neighbouring country is also a possibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BBA or MBA or BE (Electronics / Mechanical)
  • Specialized in Sales of Lung Ventilators and/or Neonatal Devices
