  • Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned region.
  • Continuously monitoring the achievement of targets by keeping close track on monthly basis.
  • To maximize sales of the product portfolio and manage issues relating to sales productivity within the team.
  • Building a strong client base, thereby working towards revenue generation for the company.



  • Responsibility for sales in small to medium segment customers with substantial poultry population in the assigned region.
  • Achieving sales objective month by month and annually.
  • Creating & effectively managing the distribution channel.
  • Seeking out major clients and build working relationships with the premier buyers in the industry.
  • Identify valuable emerging markets.
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
  • Attend major industry events, conferences, trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Responsible for revenue collections from sales partners.
  • Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace.
  • Forming sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative.
  • Prepare action plans for creating sales leads & prospects.
  • Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans as needed.
  • Strategize for the achievement of regional sales target through the zonal team by break down of annual targets to half yearly then quarterly and finally monthly.
  • Provide timely feedback to top management regarding performance.
  • Achieve inventory planning along with the Sales Head and control in such a manner that the stocks are sufficient for immediate order fulfilment as well ensuring that the products to not exceed the expiry date or get technologically redundant or non-competitive in the market.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and sales pitches.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Interacts with large customers for the product feedback.
  • Coordination with Sales Manager / Head office to deliver effective communication in co-workers.
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies, and ethics codes of conduct.

Must have

  • Any Graduate from Science background / M VSc.( Poultry) / B VSc. From Veternary / MBA – Sales Mktng.
  • Experience: Min 8+ years in poultry Industry in sales only. Experience of other commercial functions desirable.
  • Good knowledge about the poultry industry.
  • Awareness about the existing diseases in the poultry flock and appropriate remedial actions for the same.
  • Sound knowledge about the current market w.r.t. the involved industry, the existing products & effect of those products on the poultry flock.
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures.
  • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically) and other tools like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and other CRM platforms.
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to communication with International teams.
