He /she will provide a highly effective, proactive, and responsive SAP support, enhancement and
project services to customers, ensuring that the SAP S4, ARIBA and other related platforms
operate efficiently, reliably and to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s. The candidate will bring in expertise
in the SAP technology landscape namely ABAP, FIORI, BAPIs, RFCs, iDocs etc to the fore.
Key Responsibilities
 Analyzing business/technical requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and
provide the best-in-class solution recommendations in the SAP technical landscape,
Integrations with other SAP and non-SAP applications in the ecosystem.
 Provide solution and technical leadership for SAP S/4 HANA for MM, P2P, FICO,
Treasury, REFx, ARIBA, VIM etc by leading requirement gathering, solutioning,
architecture, design, build, deployment, and support.
 Provide technical leadership to service delivery (support) teams to ensure business
continuity and optimum utilization of the solution footprint in SAP S4 HANA, ARIBA,
Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) etc.
 Lead business engagement for all work in SAP. Be the first point of contact for all
technical work for new projects, enhancements, and support escalations.
 Ensures all aspects of SDLC are followed in support, enhancements, and project
execution. Put best practices of SAP development to use and set high standards for our
service partners.
 Establish world class standards in documentation, best practices for solution
maintenance, support model and project execution for SAP.
 Lead vendor teams in building world class solutions and providing top-notch service
delivery.
 Work on Complex ABAP implementations - programming, testing and debugging
functions
 Understand the business function requirements and transform the requirements into the
technical designs, specs and code
 Close engagement/communication with functional teams/Business Analysts/technical
team members and other stakeholders
 Collaborating within and outside the team to secure resilient solutions and shared
functional designs
Requirements
 8+ years of experience with SAP ABAP, design, build and maintain.
 Strong programming skills in ABAP, FIORI, Webdynpro, SAPUI5, OData Core ABAP (Reports, Interactive Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Smart Forms/SAP
Scripts, Enhancements, Workflow)
 Knowledge of SAP FICO, SAP Material Management etc.
 Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related discipline.
 Proven ability to understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and document
and implement software solutions.
 Excellent ability to work with functional teams to design complex RICEFs and
integrations using iDocs, BAPIs etc.
 Experience with India localization preferred.
 Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and teams.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Proven ability of learning new skills, technologies, and passionate about building world
class solutions and solving the most complex problems.
