Job Description for Engineer : Design & Product Engineering

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Around 2 – 4 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of CAD modelling, assembly and detailing.
3D modelling software skills Creo, , hands on experience in Creo 3D & 2D Software: Auto CAD (Basic knowledge is accepted) experience in Wind chill-PTC
Strong knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
Knowledge of Sheet metal / fabrication / Machining is added advantage.
Effective problem-solving capabilities with Bench marking Techniques.
Ability to work in a team.
Must be able to select components and ensure conversion of designs from concept stage to production.
Involve in testing and trials to ensure the product meets the requirements.
Design cost optimized solutions for meeting the product requirements.
Should be able to do theoretical calculations required for the selection of components.
Knowledge of GD&T & manufacturing process is an added advantage.
Hands on experience in SAP -ERP (part code creation, BOM and ECN process)
