Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

Profitability

Inventory MOH- as per company guidelines

Assist in setting of clear price structures to meet pre agreed margins, at prices appropriate to the market.

Order planning and forecasting

Supply Chain co-ordination with International and local brands in order to ensure timely and correct stock availability.

Stock replenishment and planning to all company stores, online & wholesale partners

Onboarding new brands and management of brands for Boddess retail format

Job Details:

 

Budgeting

Prepare annual, seasonal and monthly purchase budget as per sales estimates/ buying commitment

Manage budgeted wholesale billing with the selection of merchandise to meet these targets

Review Budgets weekly throughout season, recommending and taking appropriate action

Calculate cost of reductions.

 

Forecasting and Planning Purchase.

Monthly and total budgeted buys & forecasting as per business plan, maintaining the approved MOH

 

Category Management

Ensuring Healthy Growth of all Categories & Brands

 

Stock Management

Effectively manage stock within a specific merchandise group in order to maximize sales opportunities and profit, including coordinating with stores.

Monitor and manage inter stock transfer / consolidation requirements

Effectively maintain and manage catalogue throughout the season.

Ensure maximum profitability through the end of season reduction period

Ensure maximum profitability through the end of season reduction period and reducing BBE stock in time.

A and AA of total inventory as per business plan.

Sales Monitoring, Recording

Through regular and effective communication with store ensure that prompt action is taken to respond to fast and slow merchandise.

Undertake regular visits to the stores of competition brands/retailers and keep abreast of market trends, competitive environment in terms of pricing, product introductions, new launches etc.

 

Margin/ Price Setting

Pricing strategy for new brands entering the market

New product pricing

Setting of clear price structures to meet pre agreed margins, at prices appropriate to the market.

 

Promotional planning

Device monthly/seasonal promotions /sales period plan to maximize sale based on brand guidelines.

Through knowledge of the local market and current stock position identify opportunities for value promotions and implement, as appropriate.

 

 

 

Stock Management

 

Effectively manage stock within a specific merchandise group in order to maximize sales opportunities and profit,

Effectively maintain and manage catalogue throughout the season.

Ensure maximum profitability through the end of season reduction period and reducing BBE stock in time.

 

Brand Management & Communications

Communicating and managing brand principals for a smooth functioning of buying process

Ensure timely coordination and communication with front end teams to provide all relevant information in order to increase performance

 

Wholesale Business

Weekly planning, allocation, returns for shoppers, Lifestyle, Ecommerce

 

Managerial

Manage team with setting clear objectives and following up performance.

Make recommendations for the development of systems and processes which will benefit the whole system

 

MIS

Daily - Sales Report/ LFL /Sales Tracker/ KPI.

Weekly - New Store Analysis/ Sales/ KPI/ Category Contribution/Stock Report.

Monthly - Operating Synopsis Reports/ Operating Summary.

Monthly - Market Commentary and Sales performance Report.

Monthly Margin/Discount Report.

Principle Reporting.

Monthly/Quarterly- Sales Analysis- Store wise/City wise

CY Target and Monthly Tracking by Store.

FY Target and Monthly tracking by Store.

All reports for Principle Presentations as when required.

All reports required by different departments.

Special stores report in drag of negative.
