Role Title: Senior Support Analyst Location: Bangalore(preferred), Gurgaon (secondary- only if the candidate isexceptional) Working Hours: UK & US hours Years of Experience: 6 - 8 years Role Purpose: To be part of dedicated Product Consulting team to support BAUactivities and future business initiatives. Support the Product usage and develop operational processes around the same. Required Qualification: Mandatory 1\. Engineering or IT Degree. 2\. Strong fundamentals in RDBMS - PL/SQL, SQL SERVER 2008/2012/2016 (T-SQL)and exposure to deployment/source control tools (Jenkins/Octopus & SVN/GIT/TFS) 3\. Basic understanding of Capital Markets / Asset Management Operations /Investment Banking Added Advantage 1\. MS certification in SQL/Oracle 2\. Basic Capital Markets/Functional certifications Skills Knowledge: Mandatory No. Attributes (Rate on scale of 10) Rating (min needed) 1 (Personal) Problem-solving and Analytical skills 8 2 (Personal) Verbal and written communication skills 8 3 (Technical) Strong fundamentals in Relational Database Management System -PL/SQL, SQL SERVER 2008/2012/2016 (T-SQL)Lead to evaluate 4 (Personal) Team management abilities Lead to evaluate 5 (Functional) Basic understanding of Capital Markets/InvestmentBanking/B&F Lead to evaluate 6 (Personal) Vibrant and enthusiastic with a 'Can-do' attitude 8 Added Advantage 1\. (Functional) Awareness to Mifid 2/DFA/EMIR regulation 2\. (Technical) Advanced Excel skills and VBA Deliverables and Tasks: 1\. Collaborate with the Product Management/Implementation team and contributetowards the stability and vision of the application based on the feedback from the end users and studying the industrytrend. 2\. Lead technical implementations projects for new Clients and work on newclient requirements with implementation team. 3\. Be the Product Owner and respond to business queries from Asset Managersand Brokers from technical as well as functional perspectives. 4\. Work with development and testing teams in new product development andexisting product enhancements. 5\. Coordinate with the Asset Managers and CSA Brokers for understanding theirrequirements and work on client specific requirements for Data/Configuration changes involving complex SQL scripting. 6\. Ensure application uptime and smooth running of the application byaddressing application issues. 7\. Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve Data/Application/API issues anderrors reported by Users. 8\. Peer review SQL code and mentor colleagues with less SQL experience. 9\. Utilise change /release management systems effectively 10\. Implement changes and improvements to the procedures and processes tocope with a rapidly evolving system environment. 11\. Conduct Demo/Trainings for clients & develop knowledge bases and in-depth documentation. 12\. Aspire to take responsibility of leading the team over the period, owningthe process, and mentoring the team members with an open mindset to steer Team's growth.
