Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Expertise on SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and Online platforms.
Ø Good knowledge of Service Applications and Web Applications.
Ø Good knowledge of IIS, Event Logs, Certificates, IPs, DNS, Load Balancer, SQL Server, Windows Server, Certificates etc.
Ø Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries.
Ø Able to use PowerShell for different activities as and when needed (especially SharePoint Online), both PnP and SharePoint Online PS modules.
Ø Able to create PowerShell scripts without any support.
Ø Should be able to manage SharePoint farm. This includes patching and upgrade when needed.
Ø Customizes SharePoint site for company purposes.
Ø Should familiar with website layouts and html.
Ø Knowledge of SharePoint Development (SPFX, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript etc.) is a plus.
Ø Experience with on premise, online or hybrid model.
Ø Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
Ø Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.
SharePoint DR Skillset:
Ø Create a Disaster Recovery Farm design plan which has the same architecture as the Production Farm.
Ø Create Web Application in DR environment same like Production
Ø Add/mount the content databases to SharePoint web applications from DR SQL
Ø Create Alternative access mapping url settings
Ø Create Customised sites in DR(WFE servers) environment same like Production
Ø Create and configure Service Applications like SEARCH, MANAGED META DATA service applications , exactly the same as in Production.
Ø Take the backup of existing WSP solution files(Opprox 10 wsps) from Prod and restore into DR environment.
