 Designs, plans, installs, and/or maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems in
mission-critical, high-risk, or high-reliability environments such as data centers, medical facilities, laboratories, or
utilities infrastructure.
 Has proficient understanding of sensitive facility components that may be impacted by failures or malfunctions of
infrastructure systems.
 Analyzes current operating conditions and recommends new preventative and proactive methods for maintaining and
monitoring facilities systems.
 Evaluates facility standards and practices to improve maintenance procedures and ensure optimal operational
efficiency.
 Complies with organizational and governmental safety standards.
 Coordinates response to emergency situations and ensures that corrective measures are rapid and thorough.
 Participates in the planning and installation of new facility systems.
 May work with multiple components including HVAC systems, air or liquid cooling systems, CRAC/CRAH units,
power distribution units, fire systems, life safety systems, etc.
