?Six Sigma Role - Job Description:

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in the Asia Pacific Productivity & Business Excellence organization. The Black Belt is expected to obtain value within an accelerated time frame by leading teams through the use of the Lean Six Sigma skillset, utilizing cross-functional team resources, performing significant data analyses and reducing/eliminating wastes to create more effective and efficient processes within the organization. Black Belts are responsible for working with internal partners and fellow LSS Black Belts to drive productivity improvement throughout the corporation.
Responsibilities will include:
� Lead cross-functional project improvement teams. Teams can be both local and global; significant travel could be required.
� Apply Six Sigma DMAIC, Lean, and related tools to improve processes
� Plan, lead, drive, and complete improvement projects to deliver successful results
� Perform significant data analyses
� Use of Value Stream Management to lead Kaizen projects
� Maintain appropriate project documentation including project charter, progress updates, measures, control plan, and final report
� Communicate and transfer best practices, techniques, and tools to peers and other improvement teams
� Assist with development and coaching for Lean Six Sigma Green and Yellow belts
� Help partners to identify process improvement needs and build and prioritize a portfolio of projects to fulfill those needs.
� Familiar with Lean Agile and Scrum methodology

Black Belt certified


� MS or PhD in Statistics or Applied Statistics from an accredited college or university
� Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certified(required)
� 5-10 years� experience in applying statistical tools in an R&D and manufacturing setting is preferred, but not required
� For recent or current graduates, some relevant experience (e.g., internship, university consulting lab) is a plus
� Experience with common statistical software (e.g., JMP, Design-Expert, Minitab) is preferred.
� Proficient in using Lean Six Sigma tools such as Hypothesis Testing, FMEA, DOE, Control Charts, Value Stream Mapping, TPM, SMED, Kanban System, OEE Analysis
