o Data requirements of the analytic solution processes
o Analytic strategies to meet the demands of business requirements
The person will be part of the Data Science team for a major Insurance client. He/ She will work with

Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions
A typical workday will involve working with stakeholders in individual contributor.
Develop and deploy various ETL jobs
Design and Implement Snow pipe, Stage and file upload to Snowflake databases
A suitable candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter
attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.
Experience in insurance preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:
Common Skillsets:
o 4+ years of experience in analytics, Oracle, SQL, ETL, Snowflake and associated data engineering
jobs.
o Experience with migration projects to Snowflake (Data source mappings, Data Loading, Data
Validations etc)
o Experience with AWS services like – Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, RDS (Preferred)o Excellent communication & presentation skills
o Experience in managing codes and collaborating with customer on
model evolution
o Good knowledge of data base management and SQL, Good to have-
Hadoop/Spark, HIVE
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready
deliverable with minimal or no supervision
Good communication skill for client interaction Data Management Skillsets:
o Ability to understand data models and identify ETL optimization opportunities. Exposure to ETL
development and deployment
o Should have strong grasp of advanced SQL functionalities (joins, nested query, and procedures).
o Strong ability to translate functional specifications / requirements to technical requirementsCandidate Profile:
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, computer
science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the
same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
