?Designation : - Manager/ Sr. Manager Systems (Server and Storage Specialist)

Responsible for all day-to-day management of the Physical and Virtual servers including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery for Windows, VMware and Macintosh Servers.
? Lead Systems Team Consisting of L1 and L2 resources for Wintel, VMware, Antivirus and Cluster Servers for File & Databases & Backup related activities.
? Ability to multi task, prioritize work in high pressure situations.
? Be able to effectively work with business users, developers and other technology teams across different geographies, covering a broad range of business functions and at all levels of the organization.
? Coordination with vendor in case of hardware issues with Server & storage equipment.
? In depth understanding of Performance management of the servers, Cluster management, IOPS and storage migrations. Understanding of RPO & RTO.
? Thorough understanding of supporting technologies: IIS, Active Directory/DHCP/DNS & understanding of FSMO roles, Site & Services
? Responsible for Systems management, Optimization Tuning, High Availability configurations (Microsoft Clustering, etc.), Capacity Management & Monitoring applications like WhatsUpGold
? Strong understanding and experience in Storage Area Network and SAN Switches, replication strategy for servers. Snap shot management on storage & VMware
? Knowledge of local and remote computer system diagnostic tools
? Identify and Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks for Servers and Storage
? Ability to relate a technical issue to business impact and vice versa
? Follow issues along a technical or business process to define a problem to solve
? Be able to organize and relate unstructured information to plan a solution
? Providing Root Cause Analysis and defining action items accordingly using multiple
sources of information for root cause analysis (e.g. log files, error messages, and user
feedback)
? Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and be competent in interacting with
it via command line and GUI interfaces. Basic scripting knowledge of VB & PowerShell
? Analyze, prepare and document operational procedures and technical guidelines
? Working knowledge of ISO Standards, Process and Polices for ISO 9000/27001 preferred.
