?Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing production services for one or more than one business under UK Platform &
Advisory products and platforms & Workplace Investing.
- Ensure the platform stability and availability for the products and platforms.
- Manage the 'Client facing' and 'platform facing' support team by elevating people capabilities resulting
in effective deliverables.
- Develop an enthusiastic, motivated, high performing team with a global mindset.
- Work in a global team environment by aligning with wider interests and considering other location
- Manage the escalated issues, liaise with global teams, other technology teams, external vendors &
business units to resolve issues.
- Suggest, plan, execute and track the progress of several Transformational initiatives for bringing the
efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive the Innovation culture amongst the team by delivering outputs like (but not limited to) automation,
dashboards, self-service, improved processes etc.
- Work closely with technology delivery teams to ensure a robust change management & deployment
process with a strong focus on production readiness.
- Establish & maintain good working relationship with Technology Infrastructure Support teams and
Information Security.
- Develop and promote a collaborative work culture within the team and also with other technology
- Perform Stakeholder management & communication.
- Guide the team during major incidents. Always strive for delivering better response and resolution time,
an effective communication and focus towards business impact mitigation.
- Identify improvements with a data driven approach via SLAs, OLAs and KPIs.

?Experience and Essential Skills:
- 14 years plus IT experience
- At least 8-10 years in Production Support services using ITIL process methodologies
- Ability to learn quickly the context, functionality and platform support for the applications under purview.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Good experience in managing support for few of the required domains/applications/platforms
- Ability to understand the technology stacks like Java, Informatica, Websphere MQ and internal Cloud
- Excellent functional understanding of support function including having played a broad role of supporting
multiple functional areas and a broad set of global stakeholders across these functional areas
- Very strong understanding of ITIL support processes and best practices.
- Ability to report to steering committees comprised of senior executives & manage budgets
- Ability to derive solutions to complex problems in a structured manner whilst under pressure
- Proven experience in driving Agile team behaviours and promoting Agile principles, values & techniques
within teams
