Requirements:

General Requirements

1. University degree or above required with major in engineering.
2. Foundry or manufacturing major would be a plus.
3. Quality Certification

Experience/ability requirements

1. Follow direction, procedure, instruction honestly and clearly report the true situation.
2. Must be fluent in oral and written Indian and English.
3. Must be able to travel frequently (around 80%).
4. Must have at least 10 years of experience in quality inspections.

1. Material verification: can review spectrometer, tensile test, hardness test and microstructure reports.
2. Reviewing NDT practice: MT UT and RT film.
3. Dimensional Inspections: can use Micrometer, calipers, bore gage, can read CMM report
4. Familiarity with ASME Y14.5M. Understand comprehensive gage design and gage calibration. GD&T experience is a major benefit

1. Must have at least 10 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role

1. ISO and IATF plant auditing experience
2. Plant audit preparation for ISO and IATF audits
3. Quality system gap improvements

1. Must have at least 5 years of experience in managing a team.
2. Must have basic knowledge of casting, forging, machining and coating processes.
3. Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to make organized reports and presentations.
4. Strong personality to push inspectors to conform to work procedures and achieve work targets.
5. Organized and capable of using Excel to track and report worker performance.
6. Strong communication skills can markup photo or make simple illustration to clarify the report.
7. Able to take instructions well and implement technology procedures.

Job Descriptions

1. Lead, direct, and report the daily work of quality inspectors at various locations around India.
2. Report directly to Quality Director located in the US.
3. Achieve all goals set forth by Quality Director located in the US.
4. Draft and submit production inspection instructions. Review and submit production inspection reports filled by the inspectors.
5. Daily monitoring of inspector’s performance.
6. Continuously educate and improve India inspection team.
7. Maintain budget targets.
8. Achieve performance metric goals.
9. Minimization elimination of quality claims and complaints.
10. Follows procedure bring up quality docs to quality manger and SQE for archive.
11. Implementation of new technology processes and procedures as directed.
12. Assist in resolution of quality claims and process improvements at factories.
13. Assist in quality certification of vendors.
14. Maintain inspection team morale.
15. Conduct internal system and individual audits
16. Conduct plant quality system audits
17. Prepare plants for ISO and IATF audits
