Responsible for Planning and managing process & functions of Stores & Logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Ensure that products, inventory, parts move from one place to another efficiently and cost effectively.
Requirements:
A competent team leader & dynamic professional with over 17 years of experience in materials, operation/ project procurement with Plant & Corporate environment in ERP.
Candidate must possess at least a B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) or equivalent.
Preferably Post Graduate Diploma in Material Management will be added advantage.
Knowledge on Lean production, Operational excellence, Continuous improvement, strong personal leadership and ownership, good organization and communication skills.
Expected to work in close collaboration with cross functional teams like Production, Procurement, QC, Project, Service and Finance team.
Ensuring all the incoming consignment from external vendor/supplier against purchasing document, its documentation, inspection, preservation and accounting. Ensure organizing & stacking in proper location, tagging of goods.
Planning the inventory level based on existing level & business requirements, managing the stocks, ensuring the cost optimization.
Create, monitor and control operational plans for store including staffing levels and stock level with an eye to maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
Material feeding to production line timely and accurately.
Identification of Obsolete & Surplus material identification of obsolete and surplus inventory.
Ensure periodic inventory counting.
Ensure zero variance between book V/S Physical stock.
Inventory analysis & Ageing report on monthly basis.
Consumable materials safety and Minimum stock level tracking & its reports preparation on weekly basis.
Supervising the Logistics Supply Chain team. Ensure establish proper coordination between logistics team to supply the material timely.
Various MIS preparation.
Lead internal and external stock audit
Liaison with vendors / customer with other dept.
Providing solutions related to all Stores & Logistics issues.
Overseeing the entire supply chain purchasing and distribution process. Organizing Products & Parts dispatch.
Supervises the movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials and handling workmen in the shop floor level.
Plan, control and implement the storage and flow of products, materials, information or services.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with people at all levels.
Possess strong organizational, time management skills and strong computer skills.
Able to handle Technician and the workmen with high initiative and self-motivation
Ability to work for long hours.
