**JOB DESCRIPTION**The primary role of the Student Recruitment Manager is to actively work withinternational office of UK University towards student recruitment activitiesand increasing the University's brand presence in India.The current role is based out of T&A Consulting office in Gurgaon, for UKbased University, a member of the Russell Group of 24 leading UK research-intensive universities.The primary focus of this position is:§ **To recruit students from School 's network, pan-India and increasestudent enrolment for UG.**§ **Reach out to relevant K12 school students with the objective ofincreasing applicant numbers for the various UG Programs of the university.**§ **Network with agents, participate in agent training, manage studentrecruitment fairs to increase student enrolment from India.**§ **Develop social media marketing strategies & monitor online EducationEvents.**§ **Work on university tie-ups and strategic alliances****The role involves following Responsibilities.****1\. Increase student enrolment from Schools in India onto the University 'sprograms by:**\- Attending education fairs and exhibitions and representing the university.\- Making promotional presentations in schools, colleges and universities tostudents, staff, and parents\- Conducting consultation sessions with prospective students, parents,teachers, and other key decision-makers and influencers\- Developing and maintaining the University's alumni network in India andsubsequently channeling the network towards student recruitment activities**2\. Manage University 's existing agent network in India and act as theirsingle point of contact.**\- Establishing strong working relationships with the University's existingrecruitment agencies around India, offering a rapid and efficient response toqueries, and providing comprehensive support\- Manage and recommending suitable new agents with viable potential to act asrepresentatives of the university**CANDIDATE PROFILE **\- Excellent Verbal and Written English\- Sound knowledge of Indian Education Industry- **Experience in schools ' outreach is must**- 2-4 years of experience in the student recruitment industry/ overseas education recruitment agency is must\- The position requires an excellent understanding, and ideally experience,of the UK higher education sector, either as a student or professionally,along with a proven ability to engage with prospective students, recruitmentagencies, schools, colleges and universities, business and professionalorganizations in India\- Strong network and connections in schools (Pan India) is a must.\- The candidate will be required to undertake significant independent travelaround India, undertake periodic travel to the University campus for briefingand debriefing\- Willingness to travel extensively will be an essential requirement of thisposition. A flexible approach to working hours will also be required, as willthe ability to work towards challenging targets efficiently and autonomously.** **
