    Sustainability Data Lead

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Sustainability performance data management - coordinate with sites to ensure reliable and complete data on sustainability software.
    2. Data verification, rectification, validation, current performance monitoring, benchmarking with historical performance, and internal and industry peers.
    3. Regular knowledge sharing, organise internal trainings to concerned colleagues on environmental data, performance, GHG calculations, regulations, data collection issues, FAQs etc.
    4. Keep the track of regulations pertaining to climate, environmental, carbon pricing, CBAM and related legislations.
    5. Assist and coordinate the external audits such as Sustainability Report Assurance Audit, GHG Audit, Waste Management Audit.
    6. Prepare EHS Reports as per GRI Standards, DJSI, CDP and other sustainability ratings, data submission to such external ratings.
    7. Prepare entity, segment, and group level EHS reports for management presentations.
    8. LCAs management - coordinate with concerned plants and assist in arranging the data for LCAs.
    9. Lead some of the sustainability external benchmarking assessments, prepare gap analysis reports, explore the areas for improvement, and advise the solutions
    10. Study and prepare benchmarking reports on sustainability mega trends, benchmarking with peer group and industry best companies and recommend new initiatives.
    11. Communicate and support (information, reports, highlights of initiatives and presentations) and collaborate with external and internal subject matter experts, the sustainability team members and plant personnel as needed.
    12. Monitor updates to GRI standards, DJSI, CDP questionnaires, and other benchmarking assessments and update the team, recommend and initiate actions as needed.
    13. Support and advise planning for implementation of sustainability objectives and ensure processes are effective in delivering environmental commitments

     

     

    Job requirements:

    • Technical Degree, preferably in Environmental Engineering and Science or related field (Bachelors / Master’s Degree is preferable) with matching background or related experience
    • Experience around 5 years. Direct experience in EHS and data handling with Petrochemical Business or Manufacturing Company will be advantaged.
    • Thorough knowledge on GHG calculation.
    • Good communication skills including high proficiency in english language, ability to communicate with sites.
    • Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and competent in producing reports
    • Professional and results focused.
    • High level of business pragmatism and understanding.
