Position Title: Team Lead - Component & Compliance Group

Job Summary

Component & Compliance Group Team Lead supports Engineering, Manufacturing and Sustaining teams in development and sustenance of Schlumberger products by

  • Maintaining accurate technical and reliability data of electrical and electromechanical components in Schlumberger specific PLM system
  • Monitoring lifecycle and compliance status of components
  • Assisting design engineers in selection of components or alternates for their application
  • Authoring and ensuring adherence to standards and procedures
  • Collaborating with international stakeholders in implementing component technology roadmap

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all activities related to electrical and electromechanical component data management in Schlumberger specific PLM system.
  • Guide and assist the team in performing PCN (Product Change Notice) impact analysis
  • Mentor the team to perform lifecycle and compliance analysis and provide alternate suggestions
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders in implementing technology roadmap of components
  • Author and ensure adherence to standards and procedures
  • Review and approve engineering change orders
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
  • Discover training needs and motivate team members

Education

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines

  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

Work Experience
5-6 years of relevant work experience

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electromechanical components and their technical parameters
  • Strong knowledge of interpretation of electrical component datasheets, schematic and PCB layouts
  • Good knowledge of Environmental Compliance directives RoHS (restriction of Hazardous
    Substances) and WEEE (Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment)
  • Good Knowledge of Life Cycle trends of Electronic Component
  • Strong knowledge and hold of Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft word
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team and people management
  • Excellent organizational, data collection and presentation skills
  • Quality and Detailed Oriented
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and passion for continuous improvement

Physical Working Condition:

  • General Working office
  • Occasional short-term travel to international locations (once in a year or two year)
