Purpose of Role/Job Description: -
- Receive business and IT requirements from customer and create system specification documents for approval - Analysis of the existing system (Sharepoint based) with respect to the business requisition
- Solution Designing with respect to the business requirement
- Develop and maintain customized and plug-in portal applications for the customer Portal(sharepoint based)
- Conduct unit and system testing to ensure requirements are met
- Work with business users and customer IT to ensure applications and enhancements meet the needs of the business
- Support the SharePoint environment to ensure effective
- operations and performance
- Be flexible in work timings to match global time zones
Responsibilities: -
- Create specification documents from business requirements
- Design and develop web systems/portal
application solutions.
- Enhance existing applications and portal components to achieve complete business solution
- Perform unit and system testing to ensure high quality business solution
- Implement final solution
- Follow approval process for all deliverables
- Support users with system testing
- Investigate system difficulties and recommends/provides solutions to users
- Collaborate with Mazda Australia on projects, applications, enhancements, and development
standards when necessary
Knowledge and Skills Required: -
- Bachelor Degree in IT or related discipline,
or equivalent
- Knowledge in the .NET/SharePoint technology and web-based design principles
- Knowledge of the Azure environment, Active Directory, and AD Single Sign-on
- Knowledge of the SQL Server database, SQL language, table creation & maintenance, and database management & administration
- Knowledge of the .Net framework and SharePoint development
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
- Knowledge of script languages (Java/Jscript and VBscript) (Nice to have)
- Total 3-4 years of experience in IT industry with minimum of three years’ experience in Sharepoint/.net Technology
- Strong communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements.
- A good understanding of IT design patterns
