Primary Responsibilities include:
... - Ability to plan and execute projects within the stipulated budget and the schedule by coordinating with multiple stakeholders and help solving the technical issues
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to team members and peers.
- Organize the team’s work plans, follow up on their progress and track multiple projects using a industry-leading PM tool
- Inspire team members to align with organization/team goals and deliver the desired results through leadership and open communication. Collaborate with peers by articulating ideas/viewpoints and escalating issues in a timely manner.
- Provide process improvement recommendations that are based on best practices and industry standards; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure systems delivered meet the long-term business strategies.
- Participate in the allocation of budget, staff and any other resource(s) that are needed to accomplish or achieve set out goals (projects), and also monitor the performance of every project.
- Driving the resolution of issues that impede progress and holding self and team accountable for results
- Supporting requirements management, product rollouts, tool implementations and upgrades.
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
- Overall IT experience of 5+ years with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management or a related field.
- Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
- Must have experience in application development and software engineering
- Prior experience in the non-profit sector or in volunteering would be an advantage
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to build efficient solutions.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members, partners, external stakeholders and management.
- Experience in explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exposure to full stack development, cloud computing and data architecture will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to agile methodologies and product management.
- Willingness to travel – locally and regionally (occasionally)
- Minimum commitment expectation is two years with Bhumi.
